¡NOVEDAD CURSO 21-22!

Mi bebé aún no habla …

NURSERY RHYME TIME FOR FAMILIES

Come with your little one to our new English parent and child group – Nursery Rhyme Time for Families:  have fun in English and meet other families who love learning languages.

What exactly is Nursery Rhyme Time for Families?

You will learn traditional children’s songs and rhymes from the English-speaking world and the teacher will show you how to help your baby interact with the songs. By participating in authentic children’s songs and rhymes children will take their first steps into discovering another culture and lay the foundations for learning English later in their education. To see an example of the type of songs we will sing in the group, click here.

But I haven’t practised English since school… / but I can’t speak English…

No problem! Nursery Rhyme Time for Families will give you the opportunity to learn the English you need to help your child with the songs and might even be the motivation you need to brush up on your English by starting a course yourself.

My child isn’t speaking yet….

Intonation is the first aspect of language that children learn. The music, rhythm and repetition in traditional songs and rhymes introduce the children to the sounds of a different language in a natural way and the actions aid their understanding.

I don’t think my child will sit still long enough to sing songs in English…

Children won’t be expected to sit still and listen. They will be encouraged to participate in the actions for the different songs which will be adaptable for babies/toddlers at different stages of development.
