What does this picture have to do with Halloween? Well, every year on the 31st of October millions of children (and adults!) across the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada and the whole world will be taking part in an activity called apple bobbing.
Apple bobbing is not quite as old as Halloween but it nearly is. Apple bobbing started in the UK during the Roman invasion of Great Britain. This was a time when many traditions and customs started to merge together between the Celts (who were the original celebrants of Halloween a long time before Hallmark!) and the Romans.
To find out exactly what apple bobbing is you will have to come to the Parquesol center on Wednesday and we will show you!
